George W. Voiselle, 84, of 1702 Kateway, husband of Alice Hackett Voiselle, died Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Hospice House.
Born in Ninety Six, he was a son of the late Carl Albert Voiselle and Grace Teague Voiselle. George retired from Professional Medical Products and attended Greenwood First Assembly.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Rex Voiselle (Nancy) of Greenwood and Tony Voiselle (Rhonda) of Jacksonville, FL; a sister, Virginia Reid of Greenwood; a brother, Ray Voiselle of Clearlake, CA; four grandchildren; Christi Voiselle Duffie (Joey), Leslie Poole, Jr. (Raye), both of Greenwood, Andrea Poole of Dayton, OH and T. R. Voiselle Bowers of Powdersville, SC; and six great grandchildren, Tanner Duffie, Payton Duffie, Holden Poole, Jordan Poole, all of Greenwood, Ryland Bowers and Brooklyn Bowers, both of Powdersville.
Services will be held at 2 pm on Friday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Forehand officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Leslie Poole, Wayne Campbell, Tony Merchant, Ken Taratus, Tanner Duffie and Michael Vallencourt.
The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 1 to 2 pm.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at NHC, staff at Hospice House, and Dr. Carlos Manalich and his entire staff at Greenwood Internal Medicine.
