Gerald Vincent Paysinger, 33, of 703 Chinquapin Road, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023 at his home.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of Lisa Dorn Bowick and the late Thomas Dale Paysinger. He was employed with Cardinal Health and a member of Sandridge Baptist Church. Gerald was an avid fisherman, where he competed in many tournaments and enjoyed deer hunting. His family and friends were the most important part of his life.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Lisa and James Bowick; sisters, Breanna Paysinger and Kira Paysinger; aunts, Robin Moore (Rick), Samantha Dorn (Houston), and Tina Owens (Joey); uncle, Trevor Dorn (McKenzie); Maw Maw, Barbara Dorn; and many extended family and friends.

In addition to his father, Tommy, he was preceded in death by two uncles, Jay Dorn and Terry Paysinger and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with Mrs. Robin Dorn Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Travis Park Cemetery in Saluda.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family will receive friends before the service from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family members will be at his mother, Lisa's home, 519 Main Street E. Troy, SC 29848.
