Gerald Lavern Rinehart, 77, formerly of 215 Blyth Road, died Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Saluda Nursing Center. Born in Saluda County on September 18, 1937, he was the son of the late Colon Eugene and Estelle Hallman Rinehart. He attended Greenwood County schools. Gerald worked at Greenwood Mills and Central Trust for many years. He was a member of Mason Street AA and South Greenwood Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving are a sister, Doris Rinehart Smith, many nieces and nephews. The family is at the home of his sister, 127 Lawton Street, Greenwood, SC 29649.
