Obituary
Virginia Ginger Glenn Williams, 81, of Greenwood, widow of Charlie L. Williams, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
Born in Hodges, she was a daughter of the late James and Rosa Lee Davenport Glenn. Ginger retired from Leath Correctional Institute and was a member of Callie Self Baptist Church.
Ginger was a dedicated mother to her son, Keenan Williams (Lizbeth), and daughters Kelly Williams and Beth Cockrell. She will be dearly missed by her sister, Ann Franks, along with eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Christopher Watts officiating.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Harvley, Nic Brown, John Reedy, Gage Williams, Patrick Cockrell, and Christopher Watts.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont, 408 West Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
