Virginia Hamilton Combs, 71, of 105 Wisteria Court, widow of Paul Combs, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at NHC Health Care Center. Born in Johnson City, TN, she was a daughter of C. H. Hamilton and the late Helen Conley Hamilton Startin. She was the retired owner and operator of Ginny�s Day Care and was a member of Jordan Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving is her father of Elizabethton, TN; two daughters, Kristi Rush and her husband, Chip, of Greenwood and Shari Bowie and her husband, Johnny, of Saluda; a sister, Rita Hamilton Presnell and her husband, Charles, of Johnson City, TN; three grandchildren, Kayla Rush, Paul Wood and C. J. Rush; two step grandchildren, Michaela and Tyler Bowie and two great grandchildren, Payton and Ryan. In addition to her husband and her mother, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Norma Jean Yacker.
