Gladis Vazquez, 81, widow of Luis Porfirio Vazquez, died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Hospice House. Born in Camaguey, Cuba, she was the daughter of the late Faustino and Dilia E. Gonzalez Prieto. She was a member of The Church of the Resurrection, Episcopal. Surviving are two sons, Rolando Vazquez (Pamela) of Lexington and Porfirio Vazquez (Jacquelyn) of Greenwood; and three grandchildren, Miles P. Vazquez (Shawn) of Greenwood, Katherine A. Vazquez and Grayson A. Vazquez, both of Lexington. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jorge S. Guzman. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 1741, Greenwood, SC 29648.
