Gladys Kelley Duvall, 85, of 49 Second Street, wife of Bishop Raymond Earl Duvall, Sr., died Friday, December 30, 2016 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late Ollie Mae Kelley and Rev. W. H. Kelley and stepdaughter of the late Jessie Manley Kelley. She loved her Lord and preached the gospel, retiring as a minister with the Church of God of Prophecy.
Surviving is her husband of 66 years; her children, Raymond Earl Duvall, Jr., Kenneth B. Duvall, Wanda Faye Duvall, Elizabeth D. Nelson and Barbara Ruth Duvall; sisters, Faye Hobbs, Beverly Kelley, Evelyn Goodman, Katherine Ross, Bobbie Manley and Patsy Thomas; brothers, Luther Kelley, Roy Kelley and Johnny D. Kelley; 26 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Edith Merdock and Elizabeth R. Kelley and brothers, Wayman Kelley and William K. Kelley.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Zack Baker, Nick Wells, Christopher Wilkes, Gregg Tucker, Shane Campbell and Billy Timmerman.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
