Glena Arlene Griffin Beckham, 91 1/2, of 52 Oak Hollow Road, Waterloo, widow of Claude Richard Beckham, left this world to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Hospice House. Born in Kingsland, AR, she was a daughter of the late William Brady and Pearl Williams Griffin. She moved to Greenwood in 1936 and was employed by Greenwood Mills for 25 years. She and her husband owned and operated Beckham Floor Coverings in Greenwood for over fifty years. She was a member of Harris United Methodist Church. Surviving is a daughter, Brenda B. Ellison and her husband, Edward, of Greenwood; five grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Claudette Beckham Coursey of Spartanburg and a son, Bobby Lynn Beckham of Denton, TX.
