Michael Glenn Smith, 38, died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at his home.

Born in Greenwood, he was the son of Cynthia Teasley Smith and the late William Michael Smith. He was a department manager at Wal-Mart. Glenn was an avid Clemson fan and enjoyed bowling. He was a member of First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

Surviving is his mother of the home; his sister, Patricia Gilbert (Matthew); his niece, Serra Gilbert; his nephew, Michael Gilbert; and grandmothers, Ruth Teasley and Joyce Smith, all of Greenwood.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bryant Sims officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
