Glinda Milligan Clemmons, 69, resident of Abbeville Nursing Home, died Monday, July 29, 2019 at Hospice House.

Born in Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Richard Edgar Milligan and Louise Morrell Milligan Williams. She attended Piedmont Technical College and was formerly employed by Davis/Daniel Electric. Glinda retired from Perry Correctional Institute. She dearly loved her grandchildren and her dog, Lucy.

Surviving is her daughter, Angela Denise Clemmons (Doug Samson) of Greenwood; her son, Christopher "Chris" Clemmons (Ron) of Abbeville; her brother, George Edgar Milligan (Judy) of Haleyville, AL; grandchildren, Courtney Clemmons of Greenwood, Nicole Chapman (Lucas) of Deatsville, AL, Jackson Clemmons and Jake Clemmons, both of Abbeville and Isabel Broome of Greenwood; and a great grandson, Nolan Chapman.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eric Hill officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Family members are at their respective homes and will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
