Gloria Judy Pennington, 65, of 210 Lois Lane, wife of Walter Pennington, Sr. died Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Tommy and Gladys Young Moss. Mrs. Pennington was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith. Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are a son, Walter (Susie) Alvin Pennington, Jr. of Hodges; a daughter, Bonny (Kurt) Sue Macomson of Iva; a brother, Buster Moss of Greenwood; and five grandchildren, Phillip Tench, Bryan Tench, Crystal Macomson, Alexis Macomson and Shena Macomson. The family has requested that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to Hospice House, 408 West Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646. The family is at the home.
