Gloria Ruth Galloway Proctor, 78, longtime resident of 208 Oaklane Drive, widow of James W. �Rusty� Proctor, died Monday, November 29, 2010 at Hospice House. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Ansel Grady and Ola Mae Taylor Galloway. Gloria was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Before retirement, she was employed with Parke-Davis. She was an avid bowler with the Emeraldettes of Greenwood and was a member of the South Carolina Women�s Bowling Association. For several years, she was the treasurer for the Greenwood Christian Women�s Association and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are a son, Robert Daniel Proctor and his wife, Kennedy, of Greenwood; two sisters, Greta Sterghos of Greenwood and Geri Renaud and her husband, Paul, of Canada; a brother, Harold Galloway and his wife, Brenda, of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Lori Proctor of Greenwood and Andrew Proctor and his wife, Crystal, of Ninety Six; three great grandchildren, Elizabeth Proctor, Jaret Lei Proctor and Morgan Loggins. She was preceded in death by a sister, Gaynell Balaja. Of special mention are her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, all of whom she called her own; her longtime, faithful companion and caregiver, Tony J. Adams and her nursing assistant and good friend, Livia Watson.
