Gloria M. Coutant Setterlund died Friday, October 23, 2020. She was the daughter of Tracy S. And Ethel M. Coutant. She was born May 28, 1928 in Poughkeepsie, NY. On July 20, 1952 she married Howard E. Setterlund at the Friends Meeting House in Clintondale, NY. Howard pre-deceased her in 2012. She lived her entire life in Clintondale, NY until moving with family to Greenwood, SC in 2019.

She graduated from Highland High School in 1945, attended New Paltz College and graduated from Krissler Business Institute, Poughkeepsie, NY in June of 1947.

She was employed by the DeLaval Separator Company as Secretary in the Engineering Department, then became a stay at home mom. Gloria then retired from the United States Postal Service in 1990 as Postmaster of Clintondale Post Office.

She was an active member in the Clintondale Friends Meeting, where she taught Sunday school, and served on many committees relating to the Friends Meeting. She was an active member of the Ladies Circle and was an assistant Den Mother of Troop 171 Highland. She served as Past Matron of the Highland Chapter #385 and Wawarsing Chapter# 225 and was Past Grand Officer of Order of the Eastern Star in 1981.

Gloria is survived by two sons, Eric T. And his wife Jacqueline S. of Greenwood, SC, and Tracy E. Setterlund; two lovely granddaughters, Christina A. and her husband Jose R. Larroy, and Jennifer S. and her husband James M. Kelley. Also one great granddaughter Carina L. Larroy. A sister, H. Marie Thorn of Pittsford. Nephews David and wife Jan, Branchport, NY., John and wife Susan of Sanford, NC, and wife of Brian, Diane of Fairport, NY, as well as many grand nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held.
