Obituary

Grace Opal Poore Boozer, 92, resident of Wesley Commons, formerly of 108 Cothran Street, Ninety Six, widow of Brady J. Boozer, passed away Thursday September 5, 2019 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.

Born in Brantley, AL, she was a daughter of the late Frank E. and Pauline Childs Poore. She retired from Greenwood Mills, Adams Plant and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. She was a member of Ninety Six Church of God.

Surviving are her son, Brad Boozer (Kay) of Ninety Six; sister, Jean Greenway of Greenwood; brother, Clyde E. Poore of Atlanta, GA; granddaughter, Carolyn Michelle Campbell; great grandchildren, Jared Campbell (Katie) and Brie Adkins (Michael); and great great granddaughter, Chloe Campbell.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at Ninety Six Church of God with the Rev. Dwayne Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends before the service from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the church.
