Grace E. Butler, 79, of 3402 Highway 246 South, widow of Fred L. Butler, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late L. C. and Ruby McCombs Eakin. She was retired from Southern Textiles and was a member of Cambridge United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School and was in charge of the nursery for many years. Surviving is her daughter, Lisa M. Story, of Ninety Six; her son-in-law, Brian Lovett of Ninety Six; two sisters, Doris Pickens and Marie Wilson (Ralph); a brother, Clifton Eakin (Lois) and a sister-in-law, Mildred Eakin, all of Greenwood. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Harmon and two brothers, Edgar �Ed� Eakin and Fred Eakin.
