Obituary
Grace Chambers, age 92, passed away on July 20, 2024, at her home.
She was born on December 4, 1931, in Chester, GA to the late William and Fleta Register Smallwood. She previously resided in Hawkinsville and Kathleen, GA prior to making Bradley, SC her home. In Grace's younger years she worked as a switchboard operator and as a retail clerk for Moore's Department Store. She loved and supported her family, and enjoyed spending time with her daughter and grandson.
Along with her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her first husband Walker Coley, her husband James Chambers, and son Thomas Coley.
Grace leaves behind her daughter Cynthia (George) Williams and her grandson William (Jenine Shelhart) Sheets of GA.
A memorial service for Grace will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 10:30 am at the family home.
