Grady Lamar Dutton, Jr., 86, of 306 Lowell Avenue, husband of Dora Phillips Dutton, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 17, 2014 at this home. Born in Washington, GA, he was the son of the late Grady and Ella House Dutton. Grady was a U. S. Army veteran having served during the Korea Conflict. He retired from Greenwood Mills after 42 years of service where he was in the Quarter Century Club. Grady was a member of First Assembly of God where he was a Deacon and Sunday school teacher for 18 years. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Rev. James Lloyd Dutton and John William Dutton. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are a daughter, Patricia Parkman (Larry) of Greenwood; and a granddaughter raised in the home, Brittany Caroline Parkman, of Greenwood. Pallbearers will be Jody Parkman, Marc Young, Steven Wright, Tommy Dutton, Rev. Ricky Dutton and Rev. Joey Dutton. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to First Assembly of God, 607 Highway 72 Bypass NW, Greenwood, SC 29649. The family is at the home.
