Grady C. Loftis, Jr., 81, of 117 Clark Avenue, husband of Emma Ruth Gunnells Loftis, died Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at his home. Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Grady Cowan and Mary Lee Loftis. He was retired from Greenwood Mills, Durst Plant. Surviving is his wife of the home; two daughters, Linda F. Abramson of Williamston and Shirley J. Bell of Anderson; three sons, Jimmy Earl Loftis of Abbeville, Billy Ray Loftis of Greenwood and Bobby C. Loftis of Ware Shoals; two sisters, Ada Brown of Anderson and Linda Brock of Level Land; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Doug Loftis and two brothers, James C. Loftis and Ralph Loftis.
