Jess "Grady" Steadman, Jr. 37, of 432 Skippers Lodge Road, Cross Hill, husband of Deborah Fess Steadman, died Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Greenwood, he was the son of Myra Pickens Lawson and the late Jess Grady Steadman, Sr. Grady was a welder. He was a caring person that loved fast cars and traveling.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Dallas Crawford; and grandparents, James Steadman, Sr., Rhita Thomas Pickens and CC Pickens.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home and his mother and stepfather, Johnny Lawson of Orangeburg are a daughter, Destiny Steadman; and two brothers, Cody Crawford and Brandon Crawford.

Services will be held at 6 pm on Tuesday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Craig McDaniel officiating.

The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 5 to 6 pm.
