Obituary
Greta G. Sterghos, 91, of Greenwood, widow of Emanuel I. "Pot" Sterghos, passed on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at NHC Healthcare of Greenwood, SC.
Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Ansel Grady and Ola Taylor Galloway. Greta retired from Park Seed Company. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenwood, SC and the Greenwood Christian Women's Association.
Surviving are her children, Ann Jackson (Doug) of Woodruff, SC, Sam Swanger of Daytona Beach, FL, Ignatius Sterghos (Beverly) of Cornelia, GA, Pam McClendon (Kenny) of Ninety Six, SC, Ronnie Sterghos of Laurens, SC and Paula Straughn (Leo) of Mobile, AL; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Geri Renaud (Paul) of Trenton, ON, Canada and a brother, Harold Galloway (Brenda) of Greenwood, SC.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Gaynell Balaja and Gloria Proctor.
Services will be held at a later date.
