Harold Francis, 86 of 119 Watts Bridge Road, husband of Essie Smith Miller Francis, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Charleston, he was the son of the late Eugene Palmer Francis and Florrie Craven Francis. Harold was a U. S. Navy veteran of WWII, and a member of the American Legion, VFW in Charleston and DAV. He was a self employed locksmith. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marion Brown and Shirley Francis. Surviving are his wife of the home; children, Daniel Floyd Miller, Jr. (Becky) of Batesburg, Rev. Jerry Lee Miller (Vickie) of Duncan, Jo Ann Wooten (Dan) of Clinton and Janice Burdette (Terry) of Waterloo; a sister Betty Jones of Summerville; ten grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. The family is at the home.
