Harold Junior Whited, 73, of 135 Thompson Drive, husband of Marolyn Mobley Whited, died Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at HospiceCare of the Piedmont.
Born in Mineral Wells, WV, he was the son of the late Harold Otis and Loretta Whited. He was a 1960 graduate of Parkersburg High School and attended two years of West Virginia University where he played violin in the orchestra. He retired from BF Shaw in Laurens. Harold was a member of Lodge #358 A.F.M., VA Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #421 and was a life member of the Harley Owners Group. He was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving is his wife of the home; three children, Chris Whited and Tammie Larkin of the home, and Craig Whited of Belpre, OH; and a sister, Norma (Bill) Patton of Mineral Wells, WV.
Services, with Masonic rites, will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Archie Moore officiating.
Honorary escort will be the members of Lodge #358 A.F.M.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 3-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
