Harriet Vaughn Dominick, 92, formerly of 4501 Hwy 25 South, widow of Everett E. Dominick, died Monday, December 14, 2015, at Morningside Assisted Living. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Eddie Milton Vaughn and Sara Hipp Vaughn, and following Saras death, Jessie Hardin Vaughn became the mother who raised her. Harriet was choir director and organist for over 50 years. She served at Rock Presbyterian Church and most recently at Rehoboth United Methodist Church, where she was a faithful member. Harriet loved her family and friends with a devoted passion and loved playing with her great grandchildren. She was blessed with musical abilities and loved sharing her talents by singing and playing the piano and organ for all to enjoy. Her love for the Lord was evident through her sweet and kind disposition. Surviving are daughters, Carolyn Lawrence (Steve) of Greenwood and Kay Culp (Ben) of Spartanburg; five sisters, Ruth Satterfield, Ruby Minor, Dorothy Boone, Mary Birchmore (Ned) and Jo Nell Fallaw (Archie); a sister-in-law, Jeanette Vaughn, all of Greenwood; five grandchildren, Julie Ivanova (Ivaylo), John Lawrence (Lindsay), Amy Culp Page (Jerry), Lauren Culp and Benjamin Culp; and four great grandchildren, Evan Lawrence, Abbey Lawrence, Anna Ivanova and Katelynn Page. She was predeceased by three brothers, Calvin Vaughn, Willie Vaughn and Milton Vaughn. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rehoboth United Methodist Church, 1808 Callison Highway, Greenwood, SC 29646. Family members are at their respective homes. '
