Harriett Moore Quarles, 76, of Greenwood, wife of Dennis R. Quarles, died Wednesday, October 5, 2022.

Born in Athens, GA, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Virginia Miller Chitwood and Harris Calvin Moore. Harriett worked with Monsanto and was a homemaker. She enjoyed camping, traveling to the beach, spending time with her grandchildren and keeping up with her many friends on Facebook. Harriett was a member of Greater Grace Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are her children, Don Bryant (Christa), Kristi Waters (Brian) and Michelle Collins (Michael); a brother, Calvin Moore (Martha); two grandchildren, Dionne Harris (Richard) and Karla Stevens (Blake); four great grandchildren, Luke, Karlee, Jace and Grayson; and a fur grandbaby, Mattie.

Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Blake Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Tanner Hall, Brian Nodine, Robbie Waters, Michael Collins and Richard Harris.
The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 12-2 pm.
