Harry Lee Kennedy, 87, of Waterloo, widower of Ester Jeanette Lomax Kennedy, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 at his home.

Born in Florence, SC, he was a son of the late George and Ellen Welch Kennedy. Harry was a U. S. Navy veteran and was a self employed handyman. He attended Ninety Six Church of God.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Terrie Couch.

Surviving are his son, Roger Kennedy of Anderson; two brothers, Roy Kennedy of Greenwood and George Kennedy of West Columbia, SC; a sister, Ann Alexander of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Paige Bailey and her husband, Brent, of Washington, GA and Chase Ramsey of Griffin, GA; six great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 pm on Monday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home before the service from 1-2pm.
