Haverd Steve "Butch" Cogdill, 69, of 33 First Street, died Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at his home.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Marshall and Magnoila Arnold Cogdill. He formerly was employed by Pulliam Trucking.

Surviving are his children, Maggie Cogdill (Austin) of Abbeville, Krisina Roberts (Brian) of Chappells, Sharee Rodgers (Robert) of Due West, and Floyd Cogdill (Tina) of Ninety Six; sisters, Margret McDonald (Mark), Frances Corley, both of Ninety Six, and Vernell Riser of Saluda; brothers, John Cogdill and Clarence Cogdill (Glenda), both of Greenwood; grandchildren, Johnathan Hunt, Leigh Hunt, Holly Hunt, Benjamin Rodgers, Alex Rodgers, Austin Rodgers, Cole Ashley, Dylan Ashley and Steven Cogdill,; and great grandchild, Ella Jean Cogdill.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Buddy Cockrell officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
