Marcus Hazel Horne, Jr.,76, passed away on October 17, 2024, at his home. Born in Greenwood, SC, he was a son of Marcus Horne, Sr. and Emmie Ouzts Horne.

Hazel was a farmer and spent many years rolling and selling hay. He loved his John Deere tractor and drove it as much as he could. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing.

Hazel is survived by a brother, Robert Horne, and nephews, Bobby Cowan, Johnny Cowan, and Thomas Cowan.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Alice Cowan.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Friendship Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

The family is at the home. 826 Martin Towne Road, Ninety Six.
