Hazel Coleen Smith, 88, of 502 Ellison Street, died Monday, November 4, 2013, at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Edgefield, she was a daughter of the late George Smith and Vinnie Shelia Lott Smith. Hazel was a waitress at Star Caf� and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are three nieces, Maxine Cockrell, Delores Shepard, and Janet Wiseman; and three nephews, Norman Cockrell, Mark Smith, and Eric Smith. She was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Lee Cockrell; four brothers, Doyle, Darrell, Cleron, and Water Smith; and a nephew, Dwight Smith. Pallbearers will be Norman Cockrell, Mark Smith, Eric Smith, and Wilson Bruce. The family is at their respective homes.
