Helen Goolsby Bell, 99, of 1415 Parkway, formerly of 308 Ellenburg Street, widow of Fred William Bell, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Hospice House. Born in Lincolnton, GA, she was a daughter of the late Clifton and Mozell Meyers Goolsby. Helen was a homemaker and loved working in her garden. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by three sisters and 6 brothers. Surviving are a daughter, Doris Bell Stroud and husband, Jimmy Don, of Greenwood; a sister, Harriet Wells of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Gene Still and wife Lisa of Suwanee, GA, Andy Still of Santee, SC, and Jimmy Don Jr., and wife Jan Harmon Stroud of Simpsonville; and a great grandson, Parker Stroud.
