Helen L. Edwards, 81, of 1614 Cokesbury Road, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Robert B. and Lucia Ellis Edwards. She retired from Greenwood Industries, Nantex, and was a member of Tranquil United Methodist Church. Surviving is a sister, Margaret Darragh and her husband Thomas Ray Darragh, of McCormick and special nieces and nephews, Deborah Hope Edwards of the home, Angela Benjamin, Aaron Marshall, Andrea Marshall and Alexus Benjamin, all of Greenwood. She was preceded in death by siblings, William David Edwards, Robert Otis Edwards, Mary Virginia Edwards, Charles Rudolph Edwards, Clifford Ward Edwards, Thomas Melvin Edwards and Henry Ray Edwards.
