Helen Catherine Lewis, 74, of Greenwood, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at her home.
Born on April 29, 1950, in Abbeville, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Robert Louis Davis and Joann Catherine Hagood Davis.

Cathy's true passion lay in sharing her creativity with others, which she showcased through her cherished gift shop, "Cathy's Gift Shop," located at the flea market in Jamestown, NC. Cathy's vibrant spirit and talent for finding the perfect gift made her shop a beloved destination for friends and family to enjoy.

A devoted family member, Cathy took immense joy in creating lasting memories with her nieces and nephews. From thrilling days at Carowinds and Six Flags to sunny trips to Myrtle Beach, she delighted in seeing their laughter and happiness, always putting their enjoyment above her own. Cathy was a selfless individual, constantly doing for others and bringing joy to those around her.

She is survived by her son, Mark Rice (Tristy); sister, Sharee Davis; brother, Robert Davis (Faye); nephews, Steven Davis and Jerry Norris, Jr; nieces, Mechele Norris, and Joanna Grier; five great nephews; and four great nieces.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, William Andrew Davis "Little Andy"; brother-in-law, Tyrone Goodman; and furbaby, Sweety.
