Henry Burley Massey, 96, of 106 Morgan Avenue, widower of Hazel Jones Massey, died Friday, August 1, 2014 at NHC-Mauldin. Born in Saluda, he was the son of the late Johnnie Natus and Carrie Bedenbaugh Massey. Henry retired from Greenwood Mills, was a member of the Quarter Century Club, and a member of South Greenwood Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving are a daughter, Judy Hinton of Greenville; a son, Henry Lewis �Louie� Massey of Crouse, NC; five grandchildren, Susan Canfield of Greenwood, Timothy �Tim� Hinton (Teresa) of Greenwood, Christy Burgos (Heath) of NC, Nicole Reynolds of NC, and Brad Massey of NC; twelve great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Rufus Padgett, Myron Toney, Dean Kidwell, Larry Massey, Leon Massey and Heath Burgos. Honorary escort will be Christopher Bagwell, Dyllan Hinton, Brandon Canfield, Dakota Hinton, Parker Miller, Bryar Hinton, Blaze Hinton and Mason Reynolds.
