Howard Kenyon Loggins, 92, formerly of 109 Arkansas Street, Honea Path, widower of Lois Marie Griffin Loggins, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at NHC of Greenwood.
Born in Gainesville, GA, he was a son of the late Dillard and Mammie Craine Loggins. He retired from Harris Plant, Greenwood Mills, where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club and was a self-employed roofer. He attended Crossroads Fellowship Church.
Surviving are six children, Bobby Loggins (Peggy) of Belton, Kenneth Loggins (Judy) of Honea Path, Patricia Goetting (Luke) of Abbeville, Denny Loggins (Teresa) of Greenwood, LeDessa Lilly (Don) of Ware Shoals and Karen Wrenn (Marvin) of Waterloo; 31 grandchildren and 72 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Loggins.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Oakbrook Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Nathaniel Loggins, Blake Loggins, Jacob Nelson, Kevin Loggins, T. J. Goetting, Steve Loggins and Justin Wrenn.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.
The family is at the home of his daughter, Karen Wrenn, 269 Sulphur Springs Road, Waterloo.
