Howard "Doc" Moore, 60, of 231 Irvines Circle, passed away Monday, November 18, 2019.
Born in Homestead, FL Air Force Base, he was a son of Eloise Gregory Moore and the late Wayne Oscar Moore. He was a crane operator with Performance Contractor and an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast.
Surviving in addition to his mother of the home are his children, Ashley Riddle (Chris) of Boiling Springs and Hannah Rowell (Ben) of Lancaster; sisters, Melody Mack of Waterloo and Kimberly King (Steve) of Greenwood; brothers Gregg Moore (Zella) and Patrick Moore, both of Greenwood; grandchildren, Dylan Moore, Tripp, Jase, and Max Riddle; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Connie Cole.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parrot, Chicken Leggs.
Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carroll Harrison and Rev. Jay Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jr. Davis, Allen Fortner, J.D. Harris, Ricky Robertson, Phillip Fortner, Ronnie White, Jimmy Simmons, Owen Gary, and Harvey Deloach.
Honorary escort will be Doc's motorcycle friends.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 2:45 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
