Howard Brooks Proctor, 53, of 163 W. E. Smith Road, died Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, he was the son of the late Howard Vernon Proctor and Sandra Smith Enos. Brooks was a graduate of Ninety Six High School Class of 1977 where he played baseball, football, basketball and ran track. He attended Erskine where he also played baseball. Brooks worked for Huskey Inc and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Patti Jo Proctor D�Ambra. Surviving are a daughter, Laci Brooke Proctor of Columbia; a son, James Tyler (Shelby) Goldman of Columbia; two sisters, Renee Mattei and Nicole Gail, both of Ninety Six; a brother, Tony Enos of Philadelphia, PA ; a granddaughter, JoAnna Goldman of Columbia; three nieces, Melissa D�Ambra of Philadelphia, PA, Christina Sims and Marlena Mattei, both of Ninety Six; nephews, Nicholas Enos and Dante Enos, both of Philadelphia, PA; and aunts, Ernestine Bagwell, Shirley Lowe, both of Greenwood, Charlene Burden and Katherine Fields, both of Ninety Six and Dorcas Long of West Columbia; and an uncle, Charles Proctor of Ninety Six. Pallbearers will be his brother, Tony Enos, along with Jeremy Rowe, Justin Rowe, Steve Huskey, Mack Graham, Chuck Burden, Darren Burden and Kip Goldman.
