Huey Franklin King, 75, of 313 Windmill Circle, husband of Clara Shirley King, died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Hospice House. Born in Saluda, he was the son of the late Adger and Katie Mae Ard King. Mr. King was an US Veteran of the Marines and Air Force. He was the owner of King Roofing and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Stephen King. Surviving is his wife of the home; a son, Tony F. King and wife, Rose, of Greenwood; a daughter, Sheree Lynn King of Lexington; five sisters, Lucille Rhodes, Christine Still, Helen Whitlock, Sue Smith, all of Greenwood and Ruth Staley of Suffolk, VA; six grandchildren, Tabitha King, Kimberly King, Frankie King, Holly Brigman, Joshua King and Sarah King; and five great grandchildren.
