Irene Rogers Bass, 89, widow of James B. �Jack� Bass, died Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Hospice House. Born in Ward, she was a daughter of the late Bailey and Jessie Denny Rogers. She was a seamstress, retiring from Eastwell Sportswear and was a member of First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She loved music and lived for Tuesday nights when she could go to Johnny Barrett�s place and enjoy the music. Surviving is a sister, Mazie Salters of Ridge Spring; nieces, Judy Corder and Bonnie Rinehart; and special friends and caregivers, Diane and Darrell Noffz.
