Margaret Irene Dorn King, 81, formerly of Kirksey Drive, widow of Edward King, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at NHC Healthcare. Born in Edgefield, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Ethel Outzs Dorn. Irene retired from Mathews Mill and was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Wayne Dorn. Surviving are five brothers, George Dorn, James Dorn, Hoyt Dorn, Curtis Dorn, Raymond Dorn all of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Donald Wayne Dorn of Greenwood and Mandy Goodman of Waynesboro, GA; and a number of great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tony Dorn, George Dorn, Jr., Hoyt C. Dorn, Yancy H. Dorn, John Dorn and Jessie Dorn. Memorials may be sent to Mt. Caramel United Methodist Church.
