Obituary
Irene Kay Ramos, 55, resident of Wesley Commons passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
Born in Blakely, GA, she was a daughter of Wayne McElroy and the late Frances Sutton McElroy. She received her Associate's degree in Business from Piedmont Technical College and was formerly employed with Piedmont Technical College, Self Regional Medical Center, and CVS Pharmacy. Irene was a member of West Side Baptist Church.
Surviving are her children, Wendy Clary (Matthew), Mindy Leady (Steven), both of Greenwood, and Dillon Malo of Boulder, CO; sister, Eilene Webber (Benny) of Greenwood; sister-in-law, Lisa McElroy of Troy; grandchildren, Carmen Leady, Landon Leady, Mason Malo, Kameron Clary, Addison Clary, Kelsi Clary, and Bryson Clary; two nieces, Taylor Webber and Priscilla Hicks; three nephews, Brian Hicks (Magan), Dusty McElroy (Morgan), and Austin McElroy; and special friend, Lisa Mann of Waterloo.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Hicks and a brother, Wayne McElroy, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 3:00- 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at Harley Funeral Home and Crematory.
Burial will be private.
The family is at the home of her sister, Eilene, 100 Ferry Cove Road, Greenwood, SC 29649.
