John W. �J. W.� Barker, 79, of 316 Sagewood Road, husband of Doris Willingham Barker, died Thursday, March 3, 2011, at Hospice House. Born in Bath, SC, he was a son of the late John Washington Barker, Sr. and Annie Marchant Barker. He was retired from the Draper Corporation and after his retirement, he enjoyed working in golf cart sales. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Greenwood Country Club. He was first married to the late Frances Holmes Barker. Surviving is his wife of the home; a daughter, Linda Tanksley of Atlanta, GA; a sister, Phoebe Buffett of Aiken; three brothers, Harry D. Barker of Honea Path, Douglas Barker of Augusta, GA and Vernon Barker of Macon, GA; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
