Jack Elwood Browning II, 68, husband of Jackie Harvley Browning, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Self Regional Healthcare.
Born in Huntington, WV, he was a son of Zetta Lorraine Hatfield Browning and the late Jack Elwood Browning. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the Greenwood Motorcycle Club, Bikers for Christ, and First Mount Moriah Baptist Church. Jack ran his own business, J&J Browning Construction Company, for over twenty years. He was an avid lover of animals, motorcycles, and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.
Surviving is his wife, who was the love of his life for thirty-two years; his mother of Huntington, WV; two sisters; a brother; and his very special pet, Jake.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Reynolds and Rev. Dr. Zeb Young. Interment will be held at First Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery following the service. A motorcycle escort is requested to lead the procession to the cemetery.
Honorary escort will be Dr. Brant Parramore, Dr. Carlos Manalich, Dr. Matt Bachinski, Tony Balchin, Jeff Griffin, and Steve Fisher.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
