Theodore Jack Upton, 86, of Lynn Street, husband of Mildred Lewis Upton, died Friday, October 11, 2019 at NHC of Greenwood.

Born on July 2, 1933, in Greer, SC, he was a son of the late Woodrow Clark Upton and Grace Pittman Upton. Jack was a U. S. Navy veteran and retired from Chemstrand/Monsanto after working at the same location for 50 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenwood.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are a daughter, Lerryn Upton Crocker (Joe); a brother, Jerry Upton (Linda); and two grandchildren, Hayes Michael Culbertson and Virginia "Ginny" Crocker Purdee (Matthew).

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Dr. Tony Hopkins officiating.

The family will receive friends at Harley Funeral Home on Monday from 1-2:30 p.m.
