Obituary

Jack Perry Walker, 75, of 211 Saluda Street, widower of Betty Rowe Walker, died Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Regional Hospice Home, Spartanburg. Born in Laurens, he was a son of the late Grady C. and Fairy Bell Free Walker. He was a member of Ninety Six First Baptist Church, a Deacon, and a member of Men�s Bible class. Surviving are two sons, David Walker (Bonnie) of Duncan and Steven Walker (Gail) of Fresno, CA; a sister, Shirley Abernathy of Greenwood; and three grandchildren, Summer, Dave, and Sadie Walker, all of Duncan. He was preceded in death by six brothers, a twin brother Perry, Eugene, Roy, Fred, William R., and Marshall Walker. Honorary escort will be members of the Men�s Bible class. Memorials may be made to Regional Hospice Home; 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC, 29303. The family is at the home of his sister, Shirley Abernathy, 1524 Parkway Apt 509, Greenwood.
