Jacqualine "Jackie" Amanda Clayton McCarthy, 22, of 212 West Main Street, Ninety Six, died Thursday, May 18, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of Mary Harvley McCarthy and the late John Mark McCarthy, Sr. Jackie was a student at Piedmont Technical College, had been a barista at Starbucks and was formerly employed with Park Seed. She was a Pharmacy Technician, where she was to start working at CVS in Saluda on Monday, May 22, 2017 and attended Newspring Church. Jackie loved all people and making everyone happy. She was a beautiful soul and her courageous smile will forever be missed by everyone.
She was preceded in death by her father along with two brothers, Dakota James McCarthy and John Mark McCarthy, Jr; and paternal grandfather, Ned McCarthy, Sr.
Surviving in addition to her mother of the home are three sisters, Alisha Marshall (Nick) of Abbeville, Misty Hastings and Leslie Hastings, both of the home; two brothers, Toyce Ned McCarthy, III and Daryl Luke McCarthy, both of Ninety Six; maternal grandmother, Dora Harvley (Jack) of Greenwood; paternal grandmother, Martha Finley of Ninety Six; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11 am on Monday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chuck Sprouse and Mr. Wayne Newton officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Luke McCarthy, Ned McCarthy, Matthew Hamrick, Nick Marshall and Damone Connelly.
The family will receive friends on Sunday at the funeral home starting at 6 pm.
