Jackie Louise Richardson, 74, of Bennettsville, widow of Floyd Richardson, passed away Monday, February 10, 2025.

Born in Kannapolis, NC, she was the daughter of the late Coy and Louise Summerford Preston. Jackie was a graduate of Clio High School and was known for her incredible crafting skills; she had a passion for baking, making quilts, blankets, and handmade hats for babies will be cherished by many in the community. A true animal lover, Jackie found joy in her beloved cats, who were treated as family members. In her earlier years, Jackie reveled in the thrill of drag racing alongside her husband, creating memories that she carried with her throughout her life. Her adventurous spirit and creative talents will be remembered by all who knew her.

Surviving are her children, Mary Dodgen and Jackie's beloved son-in-law, Daryl "Duck" Dodgen of Greenwood and Pamela Stone and husband, Marcus of Chester; granddaughter, Olivia Stone; a brother, Johnny Preston of Florence; special sister-in-law, Ann Thompson of Bennettsville; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, Cayce Wiggins of Bennettsville.

Services will be held at 2pm on Thursday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating. Burial will be private.
