James Wyatt Ardis, 44, died March 20, 2022.

Born in Greenwood, he was the son of Delores Fortner Whitaker and the late Bill Ardis. He was formerly employed by Ardis Roofing.

James is survived by his mother of Waterloo; his children, Kimberly Ardis of Hodges, James Waylon Ardis of Greenwood, Jacob Ardis of Ware Shoals, Phoenix Ardis of Greenwood and Brelyn Jane Harvley of Ninety Six; sisters, Karen Lewis of Waterloo and Deborah Kelly of Ninety Six; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to Harley Funeral Home and Crematory, PO Box 777, Greenwood, SC 29648 to be applied to James' funeral expenses.
