James Winfred "Windy" Creswell, 74, of 151 White Creek Road, Abbeville, husband of Judith Jones Creswell, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021 at his home.

Born in Abbeville, he was a son of the late James O. Creswell and Margaret Martin Creswell Mulholland. He attended Wake Forest University and Riviera Beach Tech. Mr. Creswell was formerly employed with Universal Instruments.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are his children, Preston F. Jones (Ashley) of Greenwood, Portia Creswell, and Pilar Creswell Wright (Keith), both of Monroe, GA; brothers, Jon Creswell (Nancy), Ronald Creswell (Darlene), both of Abbeville, and Gerald Creswell (Vivian) of Greenwood; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two siblings, Jimmy Creswell and Laurie Cowan.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Rogers officiating. The service will be live streamed and available to view by visiting Mr. Creswell's life tribute page at www.harleyfuneralhome.com , where you can leave messages for the family.

The family will receive friends following the service.
