James Paul Grubb, 28, of Ninety Six, died Thursday, April 7, 2016.
Born in Norwalk, CA, he is a son of Bobby Dean and Barbara Jean Eagle Grubb. James was the lead bartender and brewmaster at The Mill House. He was a selfless individual, who loved life and was a ray of light to everyone he came into contact with. He taught us to never hold back, never take a moment for granted and if you're going to do it, do it with your all.
Surviving are his parents of the home; his paternal grandmother, Margerette Shaffner of Elkin, NC; sisters, Rachel Beita and her husband, Randall, of Ninety Six, Shannon Maddox and her husband, Robby, of Tallahassee, FL, Sarah Dorn and her husband, Matthew, of Hodges, Annie Grubb and Laura Grubb, both of the home; and brothers, Matthew Grubb and Andrew Grubb, both of Greenwood.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Greenwood Community Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Glen Link officiating.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorials be made to the Greenwood Community Church of the Nazarene, 2022 Cokesbury Road, Greenwood, SC 29649.
