James Allen Kazimer

James "Jimi" Allen Kazimer, 73, of Greenwood, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.

Born on November 1, 1952, in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Bertha Viola Kazimer Corley and George Corley.

For years, Jimi was the reliable and friendly Night Manager at Hampton House Apartments, where he took great care of the building and its residents.

Outside of work, Jimi had a true passion for life. He was an avid car racing fan who loved the thrill of the track. He also loved the great outdoors, whether he was away camping under the stars or at home tending to his flower garden.

He is survived by his sister, Gwen Timms (James); brother, Ronnie Corley (June); and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Phillip Corley and George Ray Corley. 

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Dr. Jerry Roberts. 

The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
