James E. Manley, 75 of 4715 Highway 25 N, husband of Pauline Warren Manley, died Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Boyd and Nina Bell Manley. James retired from Rainbow Signs and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are four children: Sandy �Roy� Woody of Greenwood, Allan �Susan� Manley, Nancy �David� Lawrence and Pat �Roger� Hogan, all of Hodges; two sisters, Connie Griffin of Laurens and Sally Moore of Greenwood; a brother Raymond Manley, Sr. of Laurens; seven grandchildren: Chris Manley, Chris Hogan, Sheila Manley, Donna Plyler, Angie Bridges, Marlana Allen and Apache Lawrence and seven great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Shannon Bridges, Chris Manley, Chris Hogan, Mike Sherer, Apache Lawrence and Robert Bailey. The family is at their respective homes.
